Congratulations to Dr. Zaid Mammo for his new case report, "Haemorrhagic bacillary layer detachment secondary to retinal artery macroaneurysm", published in BMJ Case Reports. This is the first case report report of retinal artery macroaneurysm (RAM)-associated bacillary layer detachment (BALAD) resolving with focal laser. Dr. Mammo is a faculty member in Subcluster 4: Ophthalmic Imaging for Eye and Brain Disease, and Subcluster 5: Accessibility of Vision Care and the Multisensory Experience in Society.
