Faculty of Medicine

Mr. Delavari completed his Master of Science in Neuroscience in September of 2022. His areas of expertise are in deep learning, deep learning interpretation, convolutional neural networks, image processing, and classification. Recently, he has been working on designing and validating a methodology for explainable classification of fundus images that can be used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease or other neurodegenerative diseases. If Mr. Delavari could collaborate with other researchers, he would work with bioengineers and computational neuroscientists, because he mainly focuses on and is interested in the applications of engineering tools and computational methods in biological areas such as neuroscience.

Mr. Delavari plays santoor (an Iranian musical instrument). He also takes astrophotographs.
