Congratulations to Dr. Miriam Spering on her new research study, "Rapid Audiovisual Integration Guides Predictive Actions", published in eNeuro. When humans control arm movement to intercept with a fast moving object, such as catching a ball, we not only use vision but also our hearing. This study sheds light on the integration of vision and hearing signals to guide human movement. The findings from this study provide insights for training and rehabilitation in sports and medicine. Dr. Spering is a member of Subcluster 2: Brain Imaging and Artificial Intelligence.
