Dr. Miao received his PhD at the University of California, Irvine. His areas of expertise are optical imaging and biphotonics. Recently, Dr. Miao has been working on functional optical coherence tomography (OCT) retinal imaging system development and clinical translation. He is interested in any potential collaborations (clinical/pre-clinical/cell/organoids) that can leverage their custom-built in vivo label-free 3D microscopes and ophthalmoscopes. 

Dr. Miao has one Siberian husky named Yuki!
