Ms. Youn completed her Bachelor of Science at UBC. Currently, she is a Master of Science student in the Cell and Developmental Biology program at UBC. Her research focuses on investigating the role of P2X receptors in retinal pigment epithelium and inflammasome activity in relation to the development of age-related macular degeneration.

Ms. Youn has a betta fish named Alpha!
