Dr. Giashi completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto. She received her Master of Arts and Ph.D. at York University. Dr. Giaschi's area of expertise is in visual development, motion perception, and stereopsis. Recently, Dr. Giaschi has been working on motion perception, amblyopia treatment and neural correlates using stereopsis to predict strabismus surgery outcomes. If she were to collaborate with other researchers, Dr. Giaschi would work with clinical researchers to translate research knowledge from the lab bench to clinical settings. 

Dr. Giaschi has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel!
