Dr. Brittany Carr PhD

Dr. Carr completed her Ph.D. at the University of Calgary. Her areas of expertise are retinal degeneration, animal models, cell biology, and myopia. Recently, Dr. Carr has been working on replicating human inherited retinal degeneration in animal models. Dr. Carr is interested in working with geneticists and the public to identify new models to replicate in animal models for characterization.

Dr. Carr enjoys walking outdoors and creating art--painting, sketching, embroidery and photography.
