Congratulations to Dr. Douglas Altshuler and his colleagues on their new review paper, "From the eye to the wing: neural circuits for transforming optic flow into motor output in avian flight", published in the ​​​​​​Journal of Comparative Physiology. This publication uncovers the neural circuits between the retina and brain centres that enable birds to convert intricate optic flow patterns into locomotion.
