Congratulations to Dr. Joanne Matsubara and Dr. Orson Moritz for securing the VCHRI (Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute) Equipment Grant. VCHRI provides funding for most urgent and critical research equipment by principle investigators. 

This funding will go towards state-of-the-art water systems that will be used by multiple research groups. The new water systems will benefit faculty, trainees, and research staff in foundational and clinical research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Eye Care Centre and their collaborators across Vancouver Coastal Health and UBC Point Grey Campus.
