On March 8th, the Research Excellence Cluster in Vision celebrates International Women's Day 2023. This year's campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity. Women scientists in the Research Excellence Cluster in Vision range from faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, volunteers, staff, and affiliate members. Although we started from different places at different times in our career paths, we are all connect here, today. Together, we are role models for the next generation of women in vision science.
"To date, we are privileged to have over 30 women scientists in the Vision Research Cluster. These exceptional women undertake novel and strategic research on the eye, eye disease, brain, neurodegeneration and visual processing towards helping those with visual impairments and brain dysfunction." - Dr. Joanne Matsubara, Cluster Lead
