Biography

Dr. Pfeifer manages Bio!; a high throughput biology facility in the Life Sciences Institute at UBC.  He comes from a career in early stage translational research with expertise in assay design, protein expression, automation and high throughput screening of all assay types.  He has over 45 publications and has been involved in 5 patent applications.  From start-up, just three years ago, Bio! has assisted investigators to gain access to the equipment and expertise to enable high throughput biology applications for their research.  This talk will overview equipment and tools available to investigators through Bio!.
